Terms & conditions

Draft for owner review · Prepared October 17, 2026

These policies cover NRTRE subscriptions (including Cal) only. Food purchases have separate terms.

1. Seller and agreement

NRTRE, a food search, is provided by Cameron Austin, trading as NRTRE, based in Pennsylvania, United States. You contract with Cameron Austin for use of the service, subject to the separate reseller terms for purchases below. Contact: nrtrecoach@gmail.com.

By creating an account or continuing to use NRTRE, you agree to these terms. You must be legally able to enter this agreement; if acting for an organization, you must have authority to bind it. Provide accurate account information, keep it updated, protect your credentials, and report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

2. Nutrition information and AI limitations

NRTRE provides food search, food comparisons, favorites, a shopping list, meal-planning tools and budget information free of charge with an account. The optional NRTRE Premium subscription adds an automatic shopping cart and healthy recipes matched to your foods, with estimated nutrition and costs. If the optional Ask Cal add-on is offered to you, it also provides AI-assisted nutrition conversations. Food prices are estimates, not retailer quotes. It does not include food or supplement delivery.

NRTRE (and Ask Cal, when offered) provides general educational information, not medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or individualized professional advice. AI answers, calculations and citations may be incomplete or inaccurate, even when based on established research. Verify important information and consult a qualified clinician or registered dietitian, especially for medical conditions, pregnancy, medication interactions, allergies or eating disorders. Do not rely on AI for emergencies or regulated professional decisions without appropriate oversight.

3. Free plan, Premium subscription, trial and cancellation

An NRTRE account and the free features are available at no charge; no card is needed. NRTRE Premium is $4.99 USD per month, and new accounts receive an original 7-day Premium trial. When the trial ends without a subscription, the account continues on the free plan. Creating an account alone does not authorize a charge. Completing checkout and adding a card during that trial authorizes monthly Premium billing when the original trial ends; adding a card does not restart the trial. After the trial, checkout starts a paid Premium subscription. Review the amount, applicable taxes and billing date at checkout and the confirmed date in your account.

The subscription renews monthly until canceled. Use “Manage subscription” in your account to cancel, update payment details or view invoices. Cancellation stops future renewal; Premium access remains through the paid period or original trial, as applicable, and the account then continues on the free plan. Premium remains available while the payment provider retries failed renewal collection, but can end when collection is exhausted or the subscription ends. Cancellation and refunds are separate; see our refund policy.

Payment, billing, tax, cancellation and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle’s Buyer Terms.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

4. Acceptable use and moderation

Use NRTRE for lawful personal nutrition and meal planning. Do not use it for unlawful activity, fraud, spam, intellectual-property infringement, harassment, hate speech, deceptive deepfakes or other harmful or illegal content. Do not introduce malware, probe security, scrape without authorization, interfere with the service, bypass subscription restrictions, jailbreak safety protections, or try to obtain private information about others.

Do not reverse engineer or resell the service except where applicable law expressly permits it. We may refuse or filter outputs, remove or restrict content, and investigate misuse to protect users and the service.

5. Intellectual property and your content

Cameron Austin retains ownership of NRTRE’s software, documentation, branding and other service intellectual property. Subject to these terms (and, for Premium features, your Premium access), you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service.

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit and process it solely to operate, secure and support the service, including generating answers. Only submit content you have the right to use; do not submit others’ sensitive or confidential information without authorization.

To the extent we hold transferable rights in outputs generated for you, we permit you to use them for lawful purposes. We do not guarantee outputs are unique, copyrightable or free of third-party rights. You are responsible for your prompts, verifying outputs, having rights to inputs and how you use results.

Rights holders can report suspected infringement to nrtrecoach@gmail.com, identifying the protected work, disputed content and contact details. We may remove or restrict disputed content and suspend or terminate repeated infringers.

6. Availability and liability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential losses where exclusion is lawful. Nothing here limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or legally protected personal injury claims.

7. Suspension, termination and data

We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, non-payment after applicable collection attempts, security or fraud risk, or serious or repeated policy violations. This does not remove your statutory rights or rights under the reseller’s refund terms. Account deletion is not currently self-service; contact support for privacy or data requests. Cancellation alone does not delete saved conversations. See the privacy notice.

8. Governing law and changes

Pennsylvania law governs this service agreement except where mandatory consumer protections require otherwise. Separate reseller terms govern payment transactions. We may update these terms and will provide notice of material changes through the service or account email as appropriate. Changes apply prospectively and do not remove mandatory legal rights. Contact support with questions or disputes.
